Here I come once more I have r ’t
■any news to write but thought I would
write a little to let you all know "Blue
Eyes” is still living.
Messrs. Robert Grant and Harvey
Thompson of Butts county was the
week end guest of Mr. H. L. Grant,
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Grant spent a
few days last week with relatives near
Juliette.
The singing given by Mr. and Mrs.
H. L. Grant Sunday night was enjoyed
by all present.
Say! Mt. Vernon, why is a kiss and a
sermon so much alike?
I think everybody enjoyed them
selves at the party given by Mr. and
Mrs. Tom Meek.
Mrs. W, G. Smarr and daughter,
Ruby Coleman, Hollis Smarr spent
P riday with Mrs. W. R Smarr and
•children Eugene and children Eugene
and Gertrude in Forsyth.

Everybody enjoyed the party Sat
urday night, at the home of Miss
Mattie Maynard.
Rev. Walraven filled his regular ap
pointment Sunday at Rogers.
A large crowd attended services.
Miss Pearl Baggarly spent last
Monday night and Tuesday with Miss
Ola Belle Baggarly.
Several from the Mill went to the
singing Sunday evening, and report
ed a fine time.
Mrs. J. H. Baggarly and son, Mr.
A. L. Baggarly, made a trip to For
syth Saturday.
We are sorry to say that little
Miss Alma Baggarly is on the sick
list.
We wish for her a speedy recovery.

Belle Baggarly Sunday.
Misses Lessie and Olivia Maynard
and brothers, Messrs. Clarence, Law
son and Addison, went to the party

Mr. J. H. Baggarly made a business
trip to Macon Tuesday.

his new dwelling and his family has
lately moved in.
Mr. Ed Wiggins of Crawford Co.,
spent Saturday and Sunday with his
daughter, Mrs. J.H. Baggarly.
Mrs. C. J. Childs spent Sunday
with Mrs. W. N. Maynard.
Several boys and girls went to the
party over at Mr. Jim Brooks last
Tuesday night, and oh! what a de
lightful time they had walking over
there in the mud.
Mrs. R. B. Allen spent Saturday
with her mother, Mrs. S. W. Tarpley.
Mrs. J. M. Wilson and children,
Agnes, J. W. and Ruby, have returned
home after spending several days

HOLLY GROVE.
Well, are we not having plenty of
rain? If it keeps on raining what
will we poor farmers do? Go to rais
ing puddle ducks, I suppose.
Mr. J. M. Browning and family of
Atlanta were down here Tuesday to
attend the funeral of his mother, who
died last Tuesday night, and was
buried at Forsyth, Ga.
Mrs. Browning and little daughter
Ava spent the day and night at her
mother’s, Mrs. Mollie Chambliss.
A crowd from here went fox hunt
ing Saturday night and caught a fox
near Mr. R. F. Caldwell’s. It was a
very large one, weighing 12 lbs.
Miss Elizabeth Williamson is vis
iting her brother, Mr. O. M. William
son, of Bolingbroke.
Mr. J. C. Pritchard had the mis
fortune of losing a fine milk cow last
week.
Messrs. Barnie Duke and Sydney
Holder attended the party at Dame’s
Ferry and reported a fine time.
Hessrs. George and Roy Hoise of

Monticello are spending a few days

Mr. Rudisill Smith was in our

Mr. A. A. Chambliss had the mis
fortune to break his buggy while go
ing to Juliette Saturday. I think if
they don’t hurry up and work our
roads we will all have broken-down
buggies.
Mr. M. C. Williamson made a bus
iness trip to Macon Monday.
If nothing prevents we will have a
party at Mr. A. L. Caldwell’s to
night.
Well, as it is about mail time, I
guess I had better close.
