community and is having its effect up
on the school. Berner Barnes is the
first to succumb, while others are an
ticipating.
Steve Childs of Yatesville attended
church at Rogers the fourth Sunday in
March with a full developed case, and
sent them to the four winds of the
earth.
Francis Evans came home this morn
ing from Lizella school recuperating
from measles.
Miss Dorrie Treadwell and Mr. Mar
vin Flynt called on the family of Mr.
J. A. Abercrombie Sunday evening.
Mr. James Holloway and Miss Bessie
McGehee rode to Dyas Sunday morning.
Mi. A. C. Burke made a business
visit to his father of Sofkee, who is
quite sick.
Mr. and Mrs. T. G. Treadwell spent
a very pleasant day Sunday with Mr.
and Mrs. H. Hardin.
The party given at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. M. J. Huguley was enjoyed
by all present.
Mrs. has. Evans was in Macon
last week with her daughter, Mrs.
Grady Haygood. Little Daniel Grady
Haygood has been quite sick, but we

a two weeks’ stay at Barnesville and
Colliers.

weeks with his daughter, Mrs. Lee
Whitten at Callars.

spent Sunday with home folks.
