Feeble Old People
Vinol is What You Need
because it contains the very elements needed to re
place weakness with strength, viz: Beef and Cod
Liver Peptones, Iron and Manganese Peptonates,
and Glycerophosphates, with a mild tonic wine.
This is a splendid combination to restore strength,
vitality and vigor. It has given ninety percent
satisfaction for sixteen years. HERE IS PROOF:
Malone, N.Y. Winchester, Va.
“I am 84 years of age and got into "lam a farmer’s wife, 75 years of
a feeble, weak and nervous condition age, and pneumonia left me in a weak,
so I could not sleep. Vinol has not run-down condition, so 1 could hardly
only built up my strength but it has keep about and do my work. A
given me a good appetite and I sleep neighbor brought me Vinol and it has
all right now. Without doubt Vinol built up my strength so fast that I
is the greatest strengthener for old think it is the best medicine 1 have
people obtainable.”—Mrs. S.B. Wells, ever taken.”—Mrs. Jennie Chapman.
For all run-down, nervous, anaemic conditions, weak women, overworked meu,
feeble old people and delicate children, there is no remedy like Vinol.
GOOLSBY’S PHARMACY AND DR UGGISTS EVERYWHERE
TWICE PROVEN.
If you suffer backache, sleepless
nights, tired, dull days and distress
ing urinary disorders, don’t experi
ment. Read this twice-told testimo
ny. It’s Forsyth evidence —doubly
proven.
Mrs. J. M. Frazier, Johnson St.,
says: “Several years ago I suffered
a great deal with my back and kid
neys and am glad to say Doan’s Kid
ney Pills cured me after everything
else had failed. My back was so
weak I could hardly move and I was
often nervous, too. My kidneys did
not act as they should and I felt aw
fully weak. I tried different reme
dies and was operated upon for gall
stones, but none were found. My
condition was serious and I was ad
vised there was no hope. Finally 1
was told to take Doan’s Kidney Pills
and did. The pains .gradually disap
peared, I increased in weight, and got
strong and healthy. I give Doan’s
Kidney Pills the credit.”
The above statement was given
bn February 6, 1915, and on March
21, 1918, Mrs. Frazier said: “I al
ways have a good word to say for
Doan’s Kidney Pills, for they sure are
a wonderful medicine. They did me
a world of good. If people would
take Doan’s whenever their back or
kidneys don’t feel right they would
get wonderful results.”

hog that takes two or three months
to get on full feed never brings you
a profit.
When you are ready to put your
shoats on feed begin with the B. A.

and watch your shoats round out
into fat hogs in nine months—hogs
going well over 200 pounds and as
high as 240 pounds. Figure the aver
age feeding and you will see why

NEWS FROM CAPT. WATKINS.
The following paragraphs from a
letter written to Mr. Lawton Cater
by Capt. B. T. Watkins will be in
teresting to the readers of the Adver
tiser. Capt. Watkins left Forsyth as
a member of the Quitman Guards and
is now serving in France as a cap
tain in the 49th infantry:
“Had a wonderful trip on the front.
Also had the great pleasure of being
up there ‘when the finish came. I
will have to tell you about this trip
when I see you, also about my stop
over in that city they call .Paris. I
never for once imagined there was
such a wide open, fast town in the
world. BelieVe me, kid, it is some
city. I was there just a few days af
ter war was over. Now that it’s over,
’ we are all guessing when we go home
and what they do with us. Makes no
difference what they do with me, I
am ready to come home and stay with
my folks some. 1 have been awa'
over two years, and sometimes it
seems like it has been over ten. One
regret I have is that I did not have a
chance to get into the thick of the
fight, after so much preparation, and
I think they all have the same feel
ing I do. If I had gotten here ear
lier there might have been a different
story to tell, but that is neither here
nor there—l wanted to go.”
SOLDIERS ARE RETURNING
HOME IN LARGE NUMBERS
Monroe county soldier ', white and
I colored, are being mustered out of
the camps and returning home at
such a rapid rate it is impossible to
i keep track of them.
They have been arriving for the'
( past three weeks on almost every
train, and the entire population wel
-1 comes them back home with a deep
1 sense of the patriotic service they
’ have rendered.

FOR COLDS AND CRIP
DOCTORS ADVISE
THE IMPROVED CALOMEL TAB
LET THAT IS ENTIRELY PURI
FIED OF ALL NAUSEATING
AND DANGEROUS QUALITIES.
Physicians are warning the public
against trifling with colds, influenza
and grippe. They say that a brisk
calomel purgative, preferably Calo
tabs, the new and improved calomel
tablet, should be invariably taken at
bed time and repeated the second or
third night if necessary. In the ear
liest stages, one Calotab is usually
sufficient unless the case is particu
larly severe.
Physicians say that it is a waste of
time and is dangerous to experiment
with other laxatives, as calomel is
absolutely necessary sooner or later.
One Calotab on the tongue at bed
time with a swallow of water—that’s
all. No salts, no nausea, nor the
slightest interference with diet, work
or pleasures. Next morning your
cold has vanished and your whole sys
tem is purified and refreshed. Calo
tabs are sold only in original sealed
packages. Price 35 cents. Recom
mended and guaranteed by druggists
every where. Price refunded if you
are not delighted.—adv.
