Annual Gymnasium Exhibition.
Miss Esther Eddy Irwin, who
has been Physical Director at the
"College for the past two years,
proved the great success of her
work m an exhibition given last
Thursday evening. The interest in
physical training lias been steadily
increasing and the work rapidly im
proving. Last year, the Gymnasi
um Exhibition was the best ever
given at Brenau, and the large audi
ence which assembled in the audi
torium to witness Miss Irwin’s
second exhibition were not antici
pating better work than they had
already seen under her direction.
They were happily disappointed.
Every exercise and drill was greeted
with applause and the program was
brought to a chmax when the “June
Bug Drill” was presented by the
Junior Oratory Class in costume
and with colored lights.

R. M. A. ON ENCAMPMENT.
An Ideal Spot on the Chattahoochee is Secured,
and the Boys are in the Woods.
The Riverside battalion has gone
on its annual encampment.
The spot secured is an ideal loca
tion, about four miles up the Chat
tahoochee. The cadets h-it V ednes
day morning bright and early on a
tramp to the place. 'They will be.
gone until Satuiday.
Last year the battalion camped at
Tallulah Falls, and enjoyed the
trip immensely.
The Summer School will take a
week on the Great Lakes this season.
A boat has been chartered, and the
students will be given instructions
in Naval training, which no doubt
will be very beneficial.
Honesty.
If honesty is the best policy in busi
ness it is also the best pclicy when
one has done wrong and is confronted
with the question whether he shall
confess everything frankly or make
excuses. A- transparent excuse is
worse than none at all.
