Let me Spank Him for his Mother, Let mo spank him for his mother, Ho is such a nuughty boy ; He the baby tried to smother, Wnd he’s broken Emmy’s toy. Os the doll I gave to Kllen, He has melted off the nose, And there really is no telling, Te what length ais mischief goes. Last night he put a cracker 'Neath his Aunt Jemima's chair, And he told me such a whacker When I asked how it came there. Then when old Mrs. Toodles Was just starting off by rail, He tied her two fat poodles Fast together by the tail! It really is quite shocking How one’s nerves he daily .jars ; llow he puts pins in one’s stockings, And cayenno in ones cigars. You may guess that many another Boyish trick lie’s daily at, So I’ll Spank him for his mother, Asa tiresome little brat. An oli) Dutchman undertook to wallop his son; Jake turned the tables and wal loped him. The old man consoled lnm self for his defeat by rejoicing at his son’s superior manhood. He said : “Veil, Jake is a tarn schmnrt fellow. — He can whip his own tadily.” Found Dead. —The Macon Messenger loams that John Mason, a citizen of Henry county, was found dead at his camping place, at the Buzzard Roost Station, Twiggs county, on the M. and B. The most astounding developents of Rad ical villany and hypocrisy are made now a-days by members of their own party. — Stanton disgorged the dark chapter in the Cob North case. Butler branded Bingham as the murderer of an innocent woman- Greeley owns up that his party defeated ths Crittenden compromise measures, and bro’t on the War against the wishes of a majority of the American people. The recent Legis latures of New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey have been branded by Republican journals as the most corrupt ever assembled in this country, and lastly the Philadelphia Evening Herald (Radical) announce* the startling fact that it has been discovered that at the election last fall the whole Democratic ticket in that city, was elected by some thousands of majority. It appears that the Democrats have been deliberately counted out by the scoundrels who officiated as elec tion officers.
