Zimmerman is re building his large store house in front of our office, which was consumed by fire last year. John Dunn, Fsd., lias a neat brick store in process of erection, which, when completed will be an ornament to Broad Streets Every store in the city will be occus pied this winter, and several applicants who desired merchandizing are disap pointed for the want of store houses. Change.—The Agency for the South ern Express Company has again been conferred on our worthy friend, Mr. Zimmerman. Mr. E. T. Casliin, the fmmer agent will continue among us ns Telegraph Operator. The Express Office has been removed to the depot. Not Suspended. —A report has gained circulation in this county that the Herald h: a been suspended, in connection with all the journals published in this Milita ry District. The same is false. We have no fear whatever of being interfeared with by the Milit; r Legal Advertisements. It will be seen from notices elsewhere that the legal advertisements usually published in this journal has been changed to the Atlanta Opinion. This change was made by order of General Pope.— We intend however, to continue the pub lication of these advertisements in t-.e Herald, free of charge, hoping that our friends will rally to our support, give the Herald n larger circulation and thereby compensate us for our labor.
