tion, shall be deemed an elector, and shall
have all the rights of electors as aforesaid.—
Provided, That no soldier or sailor or marine
in the military or naval service of the United
States shall hereafter acquire a residence by
reason of bt ing stationed on duty in this State :
no person who shall, if challenged, refuse to
take the following oath: “I do swear that I
have not given or received, nor do I expect to
give or receive any money, treat or other thing
