Curiosity. Mr. Hiilery Cleckler near
Fairburn, handed to us one day this
week an egg, in the shape of a powder
gourd. It had the hollow neck to it
with the end open like a small gourd
prepared for pouring out the powder.
Some of our Guano Agents say that
the demand for Fertilized s this year is
greater than the supply. That being
the case those intending to use them
had better make arrangements to pur
chase at once.
Mr. A. B. Latham of Atlanta inis a

Oct. time. Parties wishing to bn;.’ will
do well to call on him at his stables in

The Town Ordnances being handed
in so late last week we did not have
time to correct ihem, consequently
they contained many errors, by refer

that they have undergone a correction
It ill be seen by a short communi

will respond, and that lie will furnish
us with his article for next issue,
which we know, from the ability ol
the Judge, it will be an able thing.

Prof. Looney has just completed a
nice fish pond on his premises, in
which he anticipates raising fish. We
see no good reason why, a man could
not raise fish just as well as he docs
fowls, or vegetables, it is like every
thing else only needs proper attention
fo make it profitable. It will lie quite
a nice treat in a few years to visit
Prof. Loonrv and feast on fresh fish.
