v This Famous Journal, which enters upon its
twenty-second year oh the 7th of Jan., 1871, is not
only the Largest, Best and Cheapest, hut by_ far
the largest-circulating Journal of its class, in the
.world, National in Character, Ably Edited, Su

BEST AMERICAN WEEKLY.
. The Rural Kew-Tdrker has become - the standard
authority on all branches of Agriculture, Horticul
ture, etc., throughout Ihe-Union, and is invaluable
to city, village and suburban cultivators. As a
literary and Family Paper it is a favorite inmany
of the best families all.over the Continent.
The great enlargement of the Rural last year
has. rendered it necessary, for convenience of
~hn.nrHing and reading when bound, to publish
TWO VOLUMES A TEAR!
Commencing January and July. Each of the semi
annual volumes contains as much Reading and
more aud better Illustrations, than fae - formerly
gave in a whole year!—and donble what most of
the eight page weeklies of the same class furnish.
ITS ILLUSTRATIONS
Are numerous, beautiful and varied. Indeed the
Rural lias no rival in its sphere—is unequalled as
-an illustrated Rural aud Family Newspaper.
Though double its former size—now containing
sixteen large pages of five columns each, weekly—
the Rural is- still furnished at its former price.
Its Market and Crop Reports
Are' full aud reliable. Remember that it is not a
monthly, but the; largest, cheapest and best illus
trated weekly,—and . that it comprises in due a
greater variety of Reading, Choice Engravings,
&c„ than is given in half a dozen ordinary papers.
£5T Next to your local paper, Moore’s is the one
for yourself, family.and friends.
Excelled by none, makmg a perfect stitch
alikeon both sides. It can BRAID; HEM, -
TUCK and CORD, in ,tne most elegant
manner. It will pass over seams with-the
greatest ease; sews, equally well on the
coarsest and the finest fabrics, sewing Swiss
without gathering the goods. Come and
