This convention was called by order
of the Democratic Exec’tve Commitee
which provided that three delegates
from each militia district shonld meet
and nominate candidates -for county
officers, .Mr. J.- W. Mathews/ a mem-
het of the committee, who appears to
-have signed the above address to the
citizens, made the motion which was
adopted, the Perry members opposing
A citizen's meeting was-held in he
Fort Valley District. Satnrdtty last, it
appears, from the Mirror, which prop
erly appointed, three delegates and
three alternates. These in the c;>n-

Fort Vallej- Districts.” which have no

they demanded six representatives for
the ninth. Fort Valley district, which

In view of this fact.may we ask how
he could sign the address “To the cit
