In company with several citia- ns of Quitman (mem bers ol tho Orrlei), the Editor of the Banner left on Tuesday night, for the purpose of participating in the meeting. .Religious. —Rev. J. 11. Graves, the celebrated Baptist divine of Tennessee, preached in the Baptist Church at Quit man, on the evening of the 18tn ii.st. lie bud an immense audiauce, and ad were pleased with the distinguished gen tleman's oratory —although there were numerous dissenters to the doctrinal views enunciated.
