Death, of Hon. Wm. G. Brown
.On Friday morning last, our wliol
community ay as shocked with the intel
ligence of the sudden death of our only
surviving Representative and highly
-esteemed fellow-citizen, Hon. Wm. G
Brown, Wq had not heard of his in
disposition—^thought of him only as in
the vigor of manhood and likely to live
.to good old age—and we could not real
ize that just as we considered his sun
of life in its-zenith—it has gone down.
IIow short, how uncertain is man’s
life! But a little more than a ycai
ago one of our Representatives, R. W.l
Flournoy, fell by the hand of tin
assassin—and now, the county wilil
mourn the sudden untimely death of|
the other.
