This is especially true in school affairs. Therefore, in order that confusion and friction may bo nt tho minimum, it is essential that no radical changes bo made, hut that only such changes be made as are justified by wisdom and experience. As the superintendent-elect of the Sandersville High School, I wish to assure the people that I come in the spirit of harmony, of co-operation and of good will. I am not a revolutionist whoso bus iness it is to pull down and re construct according to narrow personal views, but I accept cheer fully and willingly the foundation already laid. 1 shall be happy if only 1 am able to enlarge and push to completion the work already begun by my worthy predecessor. Toward the realiza tion of this aim I. shall lend all of my energies, and I ask the hearty response and co-operation of every patron and citizen. It is my purpose to move to Sandersville as soyn as conditions will permit, and to become thor oughly acquainted with the people before school opens. But in the meantime let every patriotic citi zen bestir himself in the interest of the school. Let all be assured, too, that the present high stand ard of the school will, at any cost, be maintained during the coming year. No effort or pains on the part of the ^superintendent and teachers will be spared to secure greater efficiency in every depart ment. Those of us who take up the work in your midst for the first time, ask only for the oppor tunity and a reasonable length of time in which to prove our wor thiness. This we believe you will give, together with hearty and loyal support. J. M. Stovam,. Everyone is in the scramble for that Dollar. All the time by giving us a part of your trade at least. We have put our prices so low we can not afford to book goods. We did not adopt our system of doing business because we are afraid of everybody. Far from that. There are just lots of people who are not worth a dollar that are just as honest as they can be. We have adopted our system feeling it is best for all concerned, merchant and cus tomer, and we hope no one will humiliate themselves and us by asking us to book goods NEW 5 & 104 RACKET STORE Stockholders Meeting. sold wool Hart, Schaffner & Marx clothes are the best anywhere for the price.
