Sunset I‘ictnres.
Did yon never see bright pictures
That your fancy brought to view,
When the king of day was setting
Gently in the western bine?
Standing by the easement opening ‘
Out toward the glowing sky,
Did you never see the pictures
That the mind-eye did dercry ?
Musing here and idly dreaming.
With the thought* of earth at flight,
’Tis a scene of rarest beauty
Sunset paints for me to-night.
First I view a pearly entrance,
Huge pillars stand on either side,
And those dark walls round about it
Seem an inner world to hide.
Jusf beyond the edge there, peeping,
Is a line of radiant gold ;
This methinks tho silver lining
Os which we oftentimes arc told.
Looking in the distance further.
See those small clouds all afloat
Underneath so curved and rounding
That wc make their form n boat.
Ami each to me a life barque seemeth,
Freighted with a human soul
Which lime, the great transporter, hastens
On toward its destined goal.
And the blue sky 11 is the water”
That wc call the sea of life ;
Those dark clouds, Bhonls and billows,
Which wo nnms its cares and strife.
In the fleecy clouds, floating upward,
Imagination doth fondly behold
The fairy forms of winged cherubs,
Those shining tints their hsrps of gold.
This seemeth no fanciful picture,
Dearer, purer than earthly joys
Is tho holy thought, in yon nzurs Heaven
Soar u y two loved angel boys.
Now the clouds away have drifted,
I my dreaming must resign,
There's nothing but broken fragments
Os a glorious vision left behind.
And I draw the shutters gently,
Shutting out the fading light,
As twilight dims tho wond'rous beauty
Portrayed by sunset clouds to-night.

one cent a day, and keep them bright and ele»n.
At a cost, of one half a cent, morning and even

the breath, aid pi event that nausea so usual wit h
those who have bad teeth. It will bleach any
dingv spot ou White Garments, and make them
