Death of Jadp Neal.
Judge James B Neal, after a long and
painful illness, died at bin residence in this
place on Wednesday last, June lOth, 1*8:1,
aged 7u year- mid 8 ‘hiVS. At '£ o'clock
Thursday afternoon the stores and school*}
were donee, and a large congregation, in
cluding many from the country, as-enabled
at the Methodist church to hear the funeral
sermon by Rev. Mr. Rogers, and witness
the holt*am and impressive burial ceremo
ny of Masonic Fraternity, of which
Jndgo Naal had long been n.memlxr.
During a long and useful life. Judge Neal
had filled many positions of honor and
tj-ust, and won the respect of all who knew'
hint. He was a god ami true citizen,
well known for liis benevolence and char
ity, and in his death his family have the,
