ia noted for fair congregations, gisrd order

On Wednesday of last week, all the
perishable property of the estate of R.
F. Wotrlfolk was sold by Administrator
Ohambiisa. Tire things sold all brought
flue prices and in tlie aggregate will
amount to a considerable sum.
On Tlrnraday night of last week a
grown daughter of Samuel Turner, liv
iug in Tattnall oounty, waa struck by
lightning and was eo completely paralyz
ed lliai she did not speak until Tuesday
of the next week, but hod the appearance
of being dead, from tho cffocta of the

seen all the way down her body. It is
now believed that she will reoover.
An attempt was made to wreck a train
on the Georgia railroad on the night of
the 81st, at Mollcnry's crossing, near
Miulison. J. M. Aikin, who lives there,
being awake when the 2 o'clock freight
