From preaeut appesrsuoee the presi

Mr. Tlmma* E. Watson ia winning
high honors wherever he goes. On
Tuesday night lost a great Democratic
demonstration was had in Savanuah, at
winch speeches were delivered by Messrs
It. E. Lester and J. A Biannen,. and the
elosiog address by Tom Watson, of
which a special to the Atlanta papers
says:
Mr. Watson concluded the services in sn
olslKiirate oration, pane lusted with wit and
illuminated with Hashes of eloquence
throughout. His apceoh made a profound
impression. He was introduced by Mr.
dnfttgnon as the coming man of Middle
Georgia, the seat of statesmen, and before
he concluded it was conceded that no such
political address had been heard hero in
many years. 'Hie speaker received a great
ovation during its delivery and st its dose.
Hie common opinion was that ho fully ri

Wheu ho ssid lie must draw to s close, cries
of' No! no!" rose from every qnarter of
