remembered by our readers that the radical con
vention nominated a white man for Governor
and a negro for Lieutenant Governor The lat
torrifritlted on GW ground that he would not play
secoßinPMfo to any white skin. Recently the
extremist*have nominated a negro named Tal
iaferro for Governor ami the negro Duma#, who
refused to run on the white man’s ticket, for
Lieutenant Governor. The two rival tickets are
now well in the field and their respective triends
are actively canvassing for them. A nice com

Boynton, of the Congregational Church at Wash
ington, whose prayer# and sermons have been of

mon to justify their exclusion on spiritual
