Horn, in the early days of emigration to Cal

the vessel had cured himself, during the voy
age, of au obstinate disease by the use of
Ayers Sarsaparilla.
filnee then Mr. *Lelaxd has recommended
Ayeu's Sarsaparilla in many similar
oases, and ho has never yet heard of its fail
ure to effect a radical cure.
Some years ago one of Mr. Lelaxd’i farm
laborors bruised his log. Owing to the bad
state of hia blood, nn ugly scrofulous swelling
or lump appeared on tho injured limb. Hor
rible itching of tho skin, with burning and
darting pains through tho lump, uiado life
almost intolerable, Tho leg became enor
mously enlarged, and running ulcers formed,
discharging great quantities of extremely
offensive matter. No treatment was of any
avail until the man, by Mr. Leland’s direc
tion, was supplied with Ayer’s Sarsapa
rilla, which allayed tho pain ami Irritation,
honied the sores, removed the swelling, aud
completely restored tho limb to use.
Mr. Leland has personally used
Ayers Sarsaparilla
for Rheumatism, with entire success ; and,
after careful observation, declares that, in
liis belief, thoro is uo medicine in the world
cqunl to it for llio cure of Liver Himmlers,
Gout, tho ofleets of high living, Stilt
Rheum, Sores, Eruptions, and all tho
