“You arc looking like anew man,”
remarked a Banner Watchman re
porter to .1. J. Head a prominent
merchant of our city yesterday.
“You can truthfully sav that I am
looking better feeling better, and I am
a great deal hotter than I was last
winter," remarked Mr. Head.
“"Would you mind giving nte a his
tory o( your sufferings, anti what
brought about the change?"
“Not in the least. I feel it is a duty
l owe to mankind generally to let
them know what wrought
stteli a change in my
appearance and health. I hare suf
fered from the worse ease of eczema,
(or Erysipelas as some call it) that any
man ever did sutler with. 1 had
it five years and until life had become
a misery to me. I was hr ikon out
with sores from my feet to my knees;
my hands and my arms to my elbows
were in a leirihle eond'tion, and my
head tlnd face were horrible lo look
at. I have suffered the tortures of ill"
damned from this dreadful disease
and nothing seemed to give me any
relief. I went to the Hot Spring ol
Arkansas, the Mecca for all who suf
fer from blood ahd skin diseases; and
found no relief 1 after spending a large
amount I then went to all the wit
tering places of East Tennessee, 'de
termined see If'tiiefe wore not some
mineral water that would erase these
horrible blotches and sores,-from my
face, legs and arms. East Tennessee
ami nil its famous wafers did no good
ami I came back homo determined to
try what virtue, if any, were in doc
tors and medicine, i did so to mi
heart's content. 1 have taken not
gallons, hut barrels, of different kinds
medicine, and consulted thebost pysi
eians, that 1 could find ami still no re
lief came.
I had suffered for live' long years,
and after all my traveling to water
ing places and all the medicines, I
had taken I still found myself worse
at the end ot the live years. L spent
large sums of money to get relief, and
none came. It seems to me that it
was about time I was losing faiflt tu
doctors, medicine and health giving
waters. 1 was übuilt making up my
mind that my complaint was incura
ble; that there was no relief for me
and that I should have to sulfer to the
end of a miserable existence. 1 was
persuaded to use the B. B. 8., a patent
medicine manufactured in Atlanta.
I had become thoroughly digusted
with the patent medicine, hut after
some persuasion concluded to try it.
I commenced lo improve after the
first bottle, and up to the present time
1 have taken only ten bottles and 1
consider that j am a well man. Look
at my arms, legs, and fact,” remark
ed Mr. Head, “There is not much
sign there now, as you can see. Only
’the scars led by the sores is all that
can bo discerned. The B. 11. did it all,
I attribute it to nothing else, lum
now 48 years old, and leel like a young
man. The B. It. B. cannot he to high
ly recommended by anyone who lias
trie! it. I t docs all that il claims to
do and docs it quickly too. You do
not have lo deluge nor drench your
self with a hundred bottles of this
medicine to get relief, hut as soon as
the first bottle is taken you can see
relief is at hand. I wish the B. It. B.
company all the success possible.
They have brought me out again to
health and happiness*.
I hereby certify that I have kuowit
