Virginia L. Jones, ot. al., vs, Francis A.
Jones, as <nmlilied executor ot the will of
Alalcohn I>. Jones, late of said County de
ceased, et. al., and to carry into effect said
decree: Will be sold, at public auction, on
tho FIL’SV TUESDAY IN GCTOIIEII,
1873, before the Court-house door, in the
town of Waynesboro,’ in said County, be
tween the legal hours of sale, to the highest
bidder, aud after advertising the same for
the space of forty days, all the real estate
of Malcom 1). Jones, late of linrke County,
deceased, consisting of four tracts or parcels
of land, lying as well in the County of Burke
as Jefferson, said State, as follows: A plan
tation, or tract, h ing in said Jefferson Coun
ty, containing,three thousand seven hundred
forty and one-hall acres, more or less, ad
joining lands Sherrod Arrington, Eli Me-
Croan, lands of estaie of Malcom D. Jones,
deceased, and others, known as tho “Erin
Place.”
Also, a tract, or parcel, of land situate,
lying, and being in said County of Burke,
conUiinng eleven hundred acres,more or less,
and adjoining iands of trust estate J. Jones
Reynolds and wife, Augustus D. Sapp, Win.

Rocky creek, and known as the “Spikes
Place.”

strap Place.”

adjoining lands of Artemas L. Archer, F, A.
J * nes, estate Aaron Cross, deceased, and
known as the “McGru ler Flaco.” Said last
described two thirds of said “Medruder
l’laee,’ as well as one hundred and twenty
acres of said described Erin Place, encum
bered with and sold subject to dower of
xviilow of said M. D Jones deceased.
Tim foregoing described tracts of land
each, except the McGruder Place, have fine
water power, sufficient for mills or factories.

Grist Mill, in full operation, and cotton gin,
and contains also an inexfiaUstiWe supply of
the tii est buir rock, said to ue equal to the
French hurt , the quarry having been already
worked and thoroughly tested.
All ut said tracts if laud will be surveyed,
cut up, and plated iq parcels to suit pur
chasers, and [fiats will be exhibited on day
of sale.
Terms of sale—Cash. The whole sold
without reserved bid. Rents for current
year and crops of tenants not sold with
land, and possession given January,, 1874.
Titles iurnished by estate; purchasers to
pay for stamps.
