Court of Twrigga county, beg leave to make the
following general presentments:
We find from the four committee on build
ing*, that tho pnblic building* are in good order
with tho exoeptloa of the oonnty Jail which i*
considered not imffleiently eecnre to retain
prisoner*. We reoommend that the Ordinary
prooeed at ant* to hero said jail repaired and
made eecnre. Upon reoorda and finance we
find the hooka neatly and legibly kept which re
flect* much credit upon (he o aloe re of that de
partment. We find nome fnnda hare been paid
from the Treasury without satisfactory vouch
ers being recorded for the name, and respect
fully refer thia matter in a special presentment
to oar prenent Ordinary with InatrncUona to
look into and oorrect the error*, and to proceed
by legal proceeding* lo bring to amount *ny of
the former administration of tho offloers of the
county who may have acted illegally In pnying
oat money of the oonnty. Upon pabiia road*,
wa find the public rood* of the oonnty in good
order a* a general thing, (hero being so xnneb
rain makea them very mnddy and aloppy. We
find one road near Mr. John Gates baa been
changed, and we reoommeod that oar Ordinary
proceed at once to hive said road changed baek
lo Its tormir place.
Upon education we very much regret that
tha oOoen appointed to look after tho interest
of tho odacational department of oar oonnty
here been very negligent in providing schools
for tha youths of our ooanty, and would urge
them to be more diligent In tbetr respective
duties, aud that the school officers of our
county prooeed at once lo ascertain what
amonnt of the State school fund is dae oar
ooanty, and prooeed to have the same paid into
oar County Traaanry as soon aa they can.
We find tha poor house of onr ooanty nnder
tho superintendence of Mr. Hardy Be
kept in good order, and the tnmatan wall oared
for. We recommend that the Ordinary let the
stewardship of the same to the lowest compe
tent bidder, for tho next year, the Ordlnaty
Ixlng Urn judge aa to the oompotenoa of add
steward. Wo recommend that the Ordinary
pay bla clerk aa dark of tbs Inferior Court for
all extra aasvioas. We reoommend the Ordi
nary to furnish hi* office with snob fnrnitnroa*
la nacsMery to keep the eouoty reoorda safely
and oonvenlsnUy. We find onr oonnty elrar
of crime aa a general thing, and would oon-
gratnlato onr citizens on the peaceable oondi-
(urn of the same. We indorse the action of onr
Ordinary in lavying a tax suffident to pay the
Indebtedness of the oonnty.
In dosing these presentments we tender onr
thanks to his honor, Oarleton B. Cole, for bis
able charge to onr body at the opening cf the
present term of this coart; and we tender to
him onr heertfdt sympathies in his afflictions,
which baa canoed him to ha vs tho ooort ad
journ,.1 before the business was finished. We
tender onr thanks to Ike Solicitor General, E.
W. Oroekar, for bi* uniform courtesy to this
body; also, to Mr. J. T. Goode, Solicitor pro

I used one inn Enreka on cotton this year, and am well pleased with ths result. It paid a good profit
on the investment, notwithstanding unfavorable seasons, and I expect to uee it more exteneivwv next

I applied about 200 pounds Eureka per acre to a poor worn out field planted in cotton. Had a very
bad s'and, and made a heavy bale of cotton to every two and a half scree. The fertilizer gave out be
fore I got over the entire field, leaving about one acre of the beet land without any guano upon it. This
acre did not yield more than two-thirda of the amonnt of adjoining land. I am to well saiuflidof its
valns thst I shall nae none other except what is mado at home. F. 8. FITCH.

The foregoing analysis of the Eureka Game, proseuted for inspection by Messrs. F. W. Bims <t Co.
warrants u. in pronouncing it an excellent and reliable fertilizer for general crops- Its proportion of
nutrition, elements is well balanced. The amount of Soluble Phosphoric Acid which it aupplu s affords
a guarantee of a good fruitage for tbs first year, while the amount found as insoluble will prepare the
land by slow chemical reaction going on in tho soil for a larger yield for the ensuing year.
The Ammonia is in ample quantity to stimulate the plant and preserve its vigor, promote its early
growth aod maturity, and preserve its greenness, while the Phosphates perform their work of furnishiog
