H AVI WO secured the services of Mr. G. T.
OGLESBY as the superintendent, together
with other experienced mechanics, I have establish
ed a large COTTON GIN FACTORY, at the
Shr als of Ogeechee, Ga., where I am prepared to
make and furnish tho Planter with the best article
' in the way of a COTTON GIN now produced in this
country.
Mr. Oglesby’s time, devoted exclusively in the
shop, and seeing to the putting up of every Gin
under his special direction, and attaching all the
; improvements which he (Mr. Oglesby,) has got
ten up within tho lust two years, I am satisfied I
can supersede any made heretofore, id quantity,
i quality and durability,
All eld Gins, (when sent to the shop,) will be
repaired, and all the improvements attached if de
sired, at a reasonable chargo.
The new Gin will bo delivered at tho Planters’
, nearest depot, or at their residence if desired, free
of charge.
Prompt attention paid to all communications
addressed to meat tho above office.

To my old Patrons and Friends.
As there has been some complaint off my Gins,
made during the last two years : an explanation
you in relation to this matter is due Mr. Cheel
I have been absent a great portion of this time,
on a visit to the North, experimenting and getting
up a new Gin, as well as improving, the original
Saw Gin, together with suitable machinery for this
business, to its highest perfection, as will be ac
knowledged by all who have used them, both in
durability and quality of Cotton.
I shall now devote my individual attention in
the shop, and see that every part •!'each Gin is put
up in the nealest possible manner : in short, I shall
make the orginal Oglesby Gin, which has been so
celebrated for durability and fine Cotton, having
taken the premium in this State as well as that of
South Carolina in every instance except one, and
then it was said by foreign dealors that my Cotton
| was of a superrior quality. In conclusion, my late
improvements added to my former Gins, cannot fail
to give entire satisfaction. I will alter any old
Gins, (not too much worn,) to do better work than
it ever did before.

Margaret M’Connigan, nineteen years of age, resi
ding at New Town, had been suffering from a violent
rhenmatic fever for upwards of two months, which
had entirely deprived her of the use of her limbs;
during this period she was under the care of the most
eminent medical map in Hobart Town, and by them
her case was considered hopeless. A friend prevailed
upon her to try 110 loway’s celebrated Pills, which she
consented to do. and in an incredible short space of
time they effected a perfect cure.

I think its equal has not yet been discovered, nor do
I know how a better remedy can be made for the dis
tempers of the Throat and Lungs.

ed, but was followed by a severe cough—and much
soreness. I finally started for home, but received no
benefit from the voyago. My cough continued to grow
worse, and when I arrived in New' York, I was at once
marked by my acquaintances as a victim of consump
tion. I must eontess that I saw no sufficient reason
to doubt what my friends all believed. At this time
I commenced taking your truly invaluable in dicine
with little expectation of deriving any benefit from
its use. 'You would not receive these lines did I not
regard it my duty to state to the afflicted, through
you, that my health, in the space of eight months, is
fully restored. I attribute it to the use of your Cher
