F. M. GRAHAM, TAX COLLECTOR, 1911
On “C”’ 1 and 2 we give you tentative statemant of Mr. Gra
ham’s account with County and State for general tax for year 1911.
In these statements we have adopted our usual plan of allowing
credit for commissions earned to date of statements, and on the
“C-3" we give you statement of county school tax. On *‘C-4”" we
list special county tax collected as per duplicate of receipts given
by collector. Consolidating the balances shown on these state
ments, we have:
C-1, Balance due County Ganeral Tax...... §334.03
C-2, Balance due State General Tax........ .31
C-3, Balance due School Fund............. 40.88
C-4, Balance due County Special tax....... 63.00

: TAX COLLECTED NOT ON DIGEST.
These collections were all found properly listed by the Collec
tor in the rear of white section of Digest.
ERRORS IN DIGEST AND DEFAULTERS RELIEVED.
On ‘‘C-s"’ we give you list of errors indigest. These had not
been allowed by Commissioners, but we were careful to satisfv
ourzelves that allowance was proper.
| On ‘‘C-6”’ we list defaulters relieved and errors’ allowed upon
signed orders of the Commissioners.
INSOLVENT FI. FAS.
Most of these fi. fas. were still in the hand of the Sheriff for
collection. We checked them in detail and proved out the list of
fi. fas. still in the hands of the sheriff from Tax Collector’s detail
ed list, which was signed by the Sheriff. Since the Sheriff and
Collector have until April 20th in which to make settlement with
the County for these fi. fas. and the arrangement is for our repre
sentative to return and check over this settlement. We do not
give you detail of allowance for fi. fas. in hands of Sheriff for col
lection, aggregating $4,602.10, and divided as follows: .
County’s proportion General Tax....... ; $2.750.94
State’s proportional General Tax........ $1,250.32
State’s proportion Poll Tax............. 198.000 :
State’s proportion Dog Tax............. 53.00

County School Tax;u......oc..ivviieial, : 299.84
Total ot iniin ey S rias " $4.602.10
We understand from the Sheriff that he has collected on ac
count of above about $2,000.00. We found records in your Tax Col
lector’s office in good shape and were able, without any trouble, to
arrive at the facts regarding his accounts. .
