The County Board of Education
held an important meeting this
week Arrangements were made to
i emaploy an agricultural expert as one
luf the county’s mstructors. The in
structor in this department will have
‘the general supervision of agricul
'+ure in all the county schools and
vegnlar instructions in agriculture
- will be given at the' Lynnwood and
;A%htOHgHigh Schools. Iv is also
' planned for him to be at the court
?house on Saturdays and Mondays
' for the purpose of answering all in
quries on agricultural and-dairy sub
| jects.
- Another new feature decided upon
‘at the meeting is the provision for
‘ a seven months’ tuition in all schools
ithat will show an average attend
{ance of 15 during the preceding six
imonths.
| Other new features are also on
foot to increase the efficiency of our
‘rural schools and to add to the sum
to-al of comfort and pleasure of life
on the farm. ¢
