GSOR’ IA SARSAPARILLA,

Appetite,Constipation of the Bowels. Piles,caus
ed by Costiveness, Pain in the Bones, or Rheumatism,
caused by the use of Mercury, Synhilis, Scrofula,
Boils, Ulcers, &.C., &c.
This preparation is made as pure as possible. Its
bitter taste, and beneficial effects in diseases of the
Liver, and diseases arising from an impure state ol the
Blood, proven lo be the purest and most useful prepara
tion of Sarsaparilla that is made.
Those who have used the various preparations of
Sarsaparilla will find, by the taste and effect, that there
is more Sarsaparilla in one bottle of Dr D.’s prepara
tion, than in half a doz*m bottles asil is generally made.
That it might be more particularly adapted to pro
fessional use, nothing but tiie pure Sarsaparilla has
been used, that for different diseases, physicians might
combine or prescribe with it, such articles as they
might consider most appropriate in cases under their
treatment.
Its alterative and mildly purgative effect upon die
bowels, make it not only a good substitute lor Mercu
ry, but useful in removing a 1 diseases arising from the
imprudent use of Mercury.

PLOWS: PLOWS!
Speed the FLOW that beats the World.
THE unparalelled success which ha? attended the
introduction of John Rich’s celebrated cast-iron
PLOW, in this State, has induced tlie subscriber to
make such an arrangement as will enable hitn here
after to give his attention almost exclusively to the
Plow business By this arrangement, I shall, in a few
weeks, be able lo present tor ihe inspection of the
Planting t onmiunity, an assortment of Plows hereto
fore unknown in this State, or the Southern country,
and to which I would most respectfully invite tlie at
tention of every tiller ot the soil. Out of the large
number of persons who have purchased these Plows,
the past winter and spring, more than one-half have
already manifested their entire approval of them as
peculiarly adapted to our soil and climate, and in many
instances, where 1 have sent one or two Plows to a
neighborhood, I have the most flattering encourage
ment as to their performance, with the assurance that
n it less than forty or fifty will be wanted to supply the
demand for those neighborhoods the next season.
I would remind those using these plows, of the
necessity of saving the old points. For every two old
points returned to me at Macon, I will give one new
one, which will verv materially reduce the expense of
repairs, in making the crop bring in the net cost of the
point lor tlie small sized Plow down to about 10 cents.
The above description ol Plows, may also be had of
