In this city; at the Floyd House, on Saturday night
la-t. Dr. G. W Bi-hop, aged about 26 years, of Pat
rick county, Va , but for many years a resident of
Charlottesville, in the same State Dr. B. came to
this city in November last, laboring under a severe at
tack ot Bronchitis, which terminated his life. His re
mains were deposited in Rose Hill Cemetery on Sun
day alternoon.
In Thomnston, Upson county, on the 28th ult.,
Samuel Hicks, aged about 60 years, a native of Au
gusta, Ga., lor many years a resident ot Columbia and
Upson coon lies.
In LiGrange, on the evening of the 27th ultimo, in
the 20th year of her age, Mrs Mary Hawkiss Mor
gan, wife ol Mr. Robert J. Morgan, and daughter of
the late Dr. Andrew and Mrs. Caroline M. Battle.

tect of lumber per day, and do it much better than by

bility of having one attached to every Saw Mill or
