nose, weighs about 170 lbs, and has a tine gait. One
haa a deep blue blanket coat, the other a grev overcoat.
These negroes came from the upper part of South Car
olina, (York District,) and were sold to me by a pro
fessed trader calling himself R. Lee. I have reason to
believe that they have been stolen by some white man,

his way to Lawrenceville, (Gwinnett,) where I learn he

O IX miles bedow Knoxville, on the road leading from
yy Knoxville to Traveler’s Rest, are situated as good
a set of Mills as the ritate of Georgia affords, consisting
of Corn, Wheat and Saw” Mill, on a never-failing stream
of wafer. From 1500 to S2OOO bushels ot corn, and
from 800 to 1200 bushels of wheat, are annually taken
in as toll. The saw runs about 9 months in the year;
an average of 1000 feet per diem, with a demand for
twice that amount; ready sate at, 75 cents per 100 feet.
1200 acres of Land in connection with said Mills, heavy
timbered, some 400 or 500 acres of the same good cot
ton and corn lands; range unsurpassed in this part of
the State. No property better in the State. The Mills
pay from 40 to 50 per cent, on the capital stock. The
above described Mills and Lands are offered for sale;
and should this meet the eye of any one wishing to buy,
they .will do well to call ou the undersigned, and secure
a great bargain, ere the golden moment should slip.
