NOVV’NH) RITTERS. Kurthe , any of the above stated dis
eases cannot oe contracted when exposed to any ordinary
conditions producing them, if the Bitters are used as , er
directions. Ami as it neither ertates nausea nor offends
the palate, a’d rendering unnecessary any change ot diet
or interruption to usuai pursu ts, but promotes sound sleep
and healthy digestion, the complaint is thus renioveil as
speedily as is consistent with the production of a thorough
and permanent cure.
F r Persons in Advanced Years, who are suffering from
an enfeebled constitution and infirm body, these Bit ters are
’invaluable as a restorative of strength and vigor, and need
only to be tried to be appreciated. And to a mother while
nursing, these Bitters are indispensable, especially where
th : mother’s nourishment is inadequate, to the demands of
the child, consequently her strength must yield, am! heie it
is where a good tonic, such as Hostetter's Stomach Bitters,
is needed to impart temporary strength and vigor to the
system Ladies should by all means try this remedy for all
cases of debility, and before so doing, ask your physician,
who, if he i* acquainted w ith the virtue of the Hitters, will
recommend their use in all cases of weakness.

[All now ready to answer the oft repeated question,
“ W ho makes the best Pianos ! answer unqualifiedly,
BRIGGS, PARMALKK & CU., of Nefr York I have been
tuning Pitiios It years, and clanii to understand the instru.
nient thoroughly. 1 have been Noriti expressly toasceitam
who make* tire iiest Pianos. I have seen every part of the
D.'iggt Piano, and several other celebrated one*, in process
of being made. The Driggs Piano far excels all others, in
two very important parti ulars, viz : volun. and s\v- etu- ss
of tone, and capacity for staying in tune. The tone is pro
duced as much as possible like the Violin, there being two
sounding-board*convex outwards. The heavy, thick planks,
blocks and braces are done away with, so a chamber is
formed for sound. The power and sweetness of tone is equal
to that of the best Grand Piano.
The capacity for stayii g in tunc depends on a newly in
vented Iron Frame, or bed-plate, which sustain* all the
strain, alii is entirely free from the vibratory part of the
Instrument. There is a great improvement in the manner
of putting on the Strings, they not being liable to rust or to
jar at ‘heir hearings,*ml in the arrangement < f the dampers.
The Manges, hammers, hack catches, and every part of the
action is trade in a manner that cannot be excelled. The
following is from TUalbe-rg :
“Mr S. B. Driggs—l leave examined your new Piano
”orte, and cordially approve of its system of constructs n ;
its principles by which great increase of vibratory power is
obtained, being very simple and perfectly philosophical.—
Th t. n: is gran I and n-dde. It has great capacity for sus
tainin'-’ the sound or singing, and its volume of toue, or
power, l have never heard excelled in depth, purity, and
sympathetic sweetness S THALBEKU.”
Similar certificates have been received from Gotschalk,
