There wss another large andienoe last
night at tho City Hall to hear the third
lecture of the ltev. Mr. Brlokman, which
was highly entertaining and instructive.
The exeroises wero opened by reading

“The world of spirits, or Hados, the book
of life opened and tbo final destiny of

The lecturer expounded tho doctrine
of an intermediate place after death,
vrhero all spirits were destinod to go as
held in tho new church’s teachings.
The speaker held that there was no
sueh plsce as hell, other than a man’s
own heart which would produce his tor

The exercises concluded with the
beautiful hymn, “Nearer my God to
Thee," in which the whole congregation
joined in singing, followed by a
fine prayer and tho benediction.
The next lecture will be delivered in
the Masonic Temple, on Sunday evening
the 21st, at 8 o'clock. Subject, Heaven;
its Life and Scenery.
This will probably conclude the series
of lectures, and os the subject is a beau
