be difficult to find a man to succeed tho
present Ameer and when found he may
at first require active support, but the
task will be light compared with that of
upholding a weak and irresolute poppet
like Yakoob Khan. The correspondent
of the Times at Simla says disturbances

Kuzema Hagos on the I4th instant need
cause no anxiety as the Nagabill tribes

British troops will speedily reduce to
submission.

the banquet in Manchester, on Friday

disposition of Austria and Germany at
the time the speecn was delivered. The
correspondent also says he had such
assuranoea as enabled nim to divert his
statement touching England’s foreign
policy of all reticence, and it can bu$ be
regarded here and in Berlin es the most
efficient recognition of those assurances,
and calculated to wither the last hope of
Russia to detaoh England .from her nat
ural allies.

Read the following testimonial:
Some years ago 1 was seriously affected
with chronic aud norvous dyspepsia to such
an extent that my health wu9 much im
paired. So rapid was the advance of this insidi
ous. complaint that 1 soon felt that mv constitu
tion was broken. After suffering for several
yesrs 1 was advised to try Simmons’ Liver Reg
ulator but declined boesuso 1 had conceived it to
be“ouly a patent medicine.” At length, oehev-
mg it could do no harm. 1 yielded, in a lew
months 1 became not only relieved, but abso
lutely cured and for two years past 1 have been
thoroughly restored to health and enjoyment of
ife.
1 look upon the Regulator as a most excellent
medicine, und will always havo it by me to resist
any insidious approaches of my old enemy, i
write this in gratitude lor the benefit which 1
have received from the use of the Regulator.
