piade to the Executive, cf the
death of James Jones, late
Repreßotative of thisJlate, in
the Congrels of the United
States.
And Whereas in and by
an aft to regulate the General
Elections in this Rate, and to
appoint the time of the meet
ing of the General Aftembly,
palled on the nth day of Fe
bruary one thoufand feven hun
dred and ninety nine ; it is de
clared, “ That in cafe any per
ibn duly elected, being in this

not within twenty days, and if
