Sec. 4. And he it further
enabled, That the fupervifor of
the North Weft diftrift, fiiall,
in addition to the fame commif
| (ions on the produft of all the
: internal duties collefted in his
1 diftrift, as heretofore have been
allowed to the fupervifor of O
hio, be allowed an annual (alary
cf five hundred dollars, and at
the rate of three hundred, dol
lars per annum, for clerk hire.
Sec. 5. And be it further
enabled, That the following ex
rra allowances for clerk-hire,
; lhall be made for one year* to
; the fupervifors of the following
! diftrifts, as a full compenfation
| for the additional duties arifing
I from the fettlement of accounts
of certain infpeftors of the in
ternal revenues, whofe, offices
have been fupprefied by the
Prefidenc of the United States,
that is to fay : to each of the
fupervifors of Maffachufctts*
Pcnnfylvania, Maryland, North-
Carolina, and South-Carolina,
the fum of eight hundred dol
lars, and to the fupervifor of
Virginia, the fum of five hun
dred dollars.
Sec. 6. And be it further
enabled. That fo much of any
aft as direfts an annual entry of
(fills to be made, be, and the
fame is hereby repealed.
Sec. 7. And he it further
enabled. That the certificates
accompanying foreign diftilied
fpirits, wines and teas, which
arc now furnilhed by the fuper
vifors to the infpeftors of the
ports, fiiall, from and after the
afore faid thirtieth day of June,
be furnifhed by fuch coileftors
of ti e cuftoms as may be de
fignSred by the fccrerary of the
treafury. And it (hall be the
duty of the infpeftors to account

Sec. 8. And he it further
enabled, 1 hat for preparing and

leftors performing that duty,
fhall be entitled to, and receive
the fame compenfation, as here
tofore has been allowed to the
fupervifors refpeftively.
Sec. 9. And he it further
enabled, 1 hat all perfons who
fhall, on or after the thirtieth
day of June next, have any blank
vellum, parchment or paper,
j which has been damped by the
I luperinrendant of (lamps, and
counter-damped by the com
miffioner of the revenue, and on
which a duty has been paid to
the ufe cf government, fiiall be
entitled to receive from fuch* 1

OF THE
STATE of GEORGIA.
HAVING been frequently
Elicited by rny friends
in this and other Bates, to pub
lifli a MAP of GEORGIA—
I have devoted much time and
labour for thefe fix years paft
• to that objedt j ar!d having ac
quired fuch materials as 1 ap
* prove of, I final] be prepared in
a fliort time to offer to them
and the public, a Map, which,
from its accuracy, I have the
befl hope will meet with general
approbation ; and that I fhali
fecure to myfeif (through their
bounty) a handfome emolument,
as a reward for my induflry and
perfeverance.
The fizc of the above men*
tioned Map is 4 feet 6 inches,
by 3 feet 6 inches—Efficiently
large to exhibit the foundings
of the feveral Bays and Inlets,
and render it of life to Mariners.
It will be placed in the hands of
an Engraver within the term of
four months from this dare,
where Plates will be prepared
with all poffible expedition.
A number of copies will then
be flruck off under my own
fuperintendancy in the Town of
Louifville, and circulated thro'
the various Bates, where fub
feriptions may have been ob
tained. Price for plain Map a
5 dollars; and for thole can
vaffed and elegantly ornamented
8 dollars.
