1 he Route taken will he as follows, viz: li’aving Charles
ton or Savannah, the ship will touch a t.ibraltar, where
the party will have an opportunity of ascending the Rock
and visiting the adjacent Spanish Towns. From Gibraltar,
the ship w ill proceed to .Marseilles and tlie Fort of Villa
rran<*a, in ihe Somh ol h ranev. A ice being distant uno an<I
a quart. r miles from the latter place. Thence t» Genoa and
Leghorn, where ihe party may viait th^* ritirs of Pisa and

to the port of Civita Vecchia, near to Rom -. After remain

ing Italy, the ship will sail for Messina, in Sicily; and also

Forts on the Route to the sea ot Marmora, they w ill arrive
at Constantinople.
Returning through the Archipelago, many of the beauli-
lul Isles ol Greece will be visited, among vvhiih may be
mined Myteline, SScio, and Samos. Running down tlie Aled-
i ter rai lean, on the African side, the ship will touch at the is-

di part for Tcneriffe, one of tlie Canary Islands, w hen she
