committed in the county of Butts, in said State, on the
fifth instant, on the body of Drewry W. Bank-ton, by
JOHN KIMBROUGH, and that said Kimbrough has
fl.-il from justice. Now, in order that said fugitive may
he brought to trial, I have thought proper to issue this
mi Proclamation, hereby offering a reward of One Hun-
dent and Fifty Hollars, to any person or persons who
m u apprehend and deliver said fugitive as aforesaid to
the sheriff or jailer of said county of Butts; and I do
uioreov er charge and require all oliicers. civil and milita
rv. in this State, to he vigilant in endeavoring to appre
hend and secure said fugitive, that lie may he brought
to trial for the offence charged upon him.

One half of the Eatonton Factory for Sale.
T HE interest belonging to the estate of Josiah Flour
noy, deceased, in the Eatonton Factory, being one
half thereof, is offered for sale. Capitalists xvho wish to
make a profitable investment, should not fail to improve
this opportunity, as it is estimated that it is paying thirty
three per cent, upon the present investment. It is situa
ted three miles west of Eatonton, Putnam county, on
Little River, a never-failing stream, affording sufficient
water power for any machinery. Attached to it are a
Grist and Saw Mill, in full operation. This property is
offered for sale to effect a division, and will ba sold all to
gether, or in shares to suit purchasers. The terms will
be liberal, and we will take pleasure in shexving it to any
person who may xvish to purchase.

H AVING arrived in this city, has the boDor of in
forming the citizens of Milledgeville, and its vicin
ity, that it is his intention, as soon as sufficient patronage
may be obtained, to open a SCHOOL for the iastruction
of youth of both sexes, in the polite accomplishment of
Dancing. It is also his wish, at the same time, to
open a night School for yonng gentlemen, in some con
venient and appropriate room. Snch parents and guar
dians as have a desire to have those nnder their care in
structed, can have an opportunity of doiug so, by appli
cation at Huson’s Hotel, where a subscription list is, and
entering their names.
Private lessons will be given, if desirable.

AN ACT to alter and amend the several Judiciary
now in force this Slate, to far as relates io Jus tics*
Courts, approved December 14th, 1811, so far as to chsng*
the time of holding J notices Courts in the districts in th*
several counties in this State, from once a month, to one*
in every four months, in each year.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of
Representatives of the State of Georgia, in General Assem
bly met, and it is hereby enacted by tbe authority of th*
same, That from and after the passage of this act, the Jus
tices Courts in the several districts in tbe several conntie*
in this State, shall be held in each district once in every
four months in each and every year; the first Courts in
each district shall be held in the month of January after tb*
passage of this act, and once every four months thereafter,
on such day as the said Justices in each district may desig
nate, and no term of said Court shall be more than two day-..
Sec. 2. And be it further eDacted by tbe authority afore
said, That all laws and parts of laws militating against this
act, be and tbe same are hereby repealed.

AN ACT to repeal an art entitled an act to extend the time
for fortunate drawers in all the Land Lotteries, and in the
Gold Lottery, to take out their grants, assented to 10th
December, 1841, and to limit the time fur the fortunate
drawers in said Lotteries, to take out their grants; and to
provide for the disposition of the same, if not granted
within the limitation; and to provide for taking out yd
rights.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of
Representatives of the State of Georgia, in General Assem
bly met, and it is hereby enacted by Ihe authority of th*
same. That an act entitled an net to expend the time for th*
fortunate drawers in all Ihe Land Lotteries, and in tha
Gold lottery, to take out their grant*, except in th* counties
hereinafter excepted, assented to 10th December, 1841 b*
and the same is hereby repealed.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted by tha authority afor»
said. That the fortunate drawers in the Land Lottery of
1821, embracing tha counties ol originally Dooly, Houston
Monroe, Henry and Fayette; and the fortunate drawers in
syth, Cubb, Cass, Lumpkin, Gilmer, Murrey, Walker, Paul
ding, Dade, Chattooga, Union, and Floyd, shall take out
their grants on or before the first day of July, eighteen bun.
