Tlie-P l*i!l» have long been known anii appreciated for
their extra ordinary and immediate powers ol restoring per
fect health to persons suffering under nearly every kind of
disease to which the human frame is liable.
They are particularly recommended to all those persons
who are afflicted with any kind of a chronic or lingering
complaint, as there is no medicine before the public which
has so natural and happy effect upon the system in correct
ing the stomach and liver, and to the formation or healthy
chvie and thereby purifying the blood.
Thev are acknowledged by the hundreds and tit usands
who arc using them, to bo not only the most mild and plea
sant in their tip* ration, hut the most perfectly innocent, safe
and efficient medicine ever offered to the public. Those
who oi.ee make a trial of them, and call again and again for
more- w hich is sufficient proof of their good qualities.
HEADACHE—SICK OK NERVOUS.
Those w ho have suffered and are weary of suffering
with this distressing complaint, will find Spencer s Ve-
oetabi.E Pills a remedy at once certain and tmmedia.e in
its effects. One single dose of the IMIs taken soon ns the
headache is felt coming on, will cure it in one half hour
entirely.
As a remedy in summer and bowel complaints, they dis
play their wonderful powers to admiration, anil arc iar su
perior to any thing in use for these complaints.
In Dyspepsia and Liver Complaint, they stand unrival
led. Many have been cured in a few weeks, after having
suffered under the dreadf ul complaint for years.
In Habitual Costiveness, they are decidedl> superi

They are mild in their action, and convey a.mo*t imrne- I

Upwards of ihree hundred and seventy thousand boxes ot
these inestimable Pills have been sold \%iibin the h*t«we.ve
months in three Slates alone, and more than three times the ;
same quantity in other Slates. j
As on antt-hillious medicine, no family should he without j
them. A single trial of then, is more satisfactory than a
thousand certificates.
TALLADEGA SPRINGS, Ala. Aug. 1«, 1^42.
Thi* 13 to certify, that I hav. been afflicted with sick- j
headache, Dyspepsia, and L.ver Complaint, and Costive- j
ness, for the last 8 or 9 years, during which time I had ta- j
ken, as well as I recollect, about 60 boxes «l Beckwiths
Pills, 12 boxes of Peter’s Pi! s, and a number ot boxes of
Champion’s and Brandreth’s Pills, all of which niror' ed hie
but little or no relief. At last was recommended Dr. Spen- -
cer’s Vegetable Pills, and well 1 did; for 1 never had hut one
attack of the Sick-Headache after 1 commenced taking'the I
Pills, mow about six months,, and I candidly confess that 1
have • rived more rial benefit troin the use of Spencer j |
pills, than from all the other medicine a., i pills »>t J have j
ever taken, and I would earnestly recommend them 10
ALL, as being in iny opinion, the best medicine in use lor I
ail lingering complaints. The Pills have done me so much
good, that 1 would not feel willing to he without them tor
five dollars a box; and 1 cannot hut feel very thankful to |
Dr. Spencer for having j-repared such a valuable medicine,
and the distribution of it is conferring a very great favor on
the public, as it is a thing of the utmost importance that ev
ery lamdy should haven supply of Dr. Spencer’s truly valu
able pills constantly on hand. ISAAC 31. THOMAS.
KISER’S STORE, Talltdega co. Ain, Aug. 15. 1-^42.
This is to certify, that i have used Dr. Spencer s \ egeta-
ble Pills in my family for the last 6 months, and 1 oiisider
them the best pills I ever used. I was appointed an agent
for the sale of them about six months ago, at w ich time
the travelling agent left me about one hundred boxes, and!
have sold out • very box long since, and could "have sold as
many r m re ii they had been left. I think every family
should kerp a si pply on hand. 1 have never sold nuv pi..s
