M. Ware, John Gallemore and Wm. O’Bannon,
the land being Decreed to be subject for the pur
chase money in the sale from Burney to Ware, the |
other two being subsequent purchasers.

I T appearing to the Court, by the petition of Le
roy Waits and William B. Waits, that Thomas
K. Slaughter of said county, deceased, did, in his
life time, execute to Isaac Langston and John E.
Langston his bond, on certain conditions, to exe
cute waianty titles in fee simple to a certain tract
of land situated in said county, containing three
hundred acres, more or less, and it further appear
ing that said Thomas K. Slaughter departed this
life without executing titles to said tract of land,
or providing therefor, and it further appearing that
said Langston did on the 2d of November, 1856,
for a valuable consideration, transfer said bond to
said Leroy and Wm. B. Waits, and that said
Waits have paid the full amount of the purchase
money for said lot of land, and said Waits having
filed their petition in Court, praying that James
M. Williams of said county, administrator, and
Matilda Slaughter of the county of Butte, admin
istratrix of said Thomas K. Slaughter, deceased,
he orJered and directed to execute warantv titles
in fee simple to said tract of land, in conformity
with said botid. It is, therefore. Ordered, that no
tice be given in the Federal Union of such appli
cation as required by law, that all persons con
cerned may file their objections in the Ordinary's
Office, if any they have, why said James M. Wil
liams, administrator, and Matilda Slaughter, ad
ministratrix, of said Thomas K. Slaughter, as afore
said, should not execute titles to said laud in con
formity with said bond.

In June, 1855, afier a protracted illness of several
months, I was severely attacked with (I rows ness, ver-
tago. dimness of sight, and loss of appetite, accompanied'
by fever, difficulty of breathing, etc. My phvsirian
pronounced inv case pn nmonin bordering on the first
stage ofconsnmption; and after exhausting his skill de
clared postively that 1 had the consumption, that he
could do nothing for me, that I must die. However,
he advised me to use as the best tiling I could d<,
which I did, with no effect. I then made use ol
which proved inefficient.
By this time my symptoms were pain in the head,
morning evening, and during the night, darting
pains through the chest, burning iu the palms
of the hands, quick pulse, night sweats, difficullyof
breathing, etc., when fortunately 1 go! hold of the

Messrs Bimn, ( one, and others, which induced mo to
try Perry Davis’ V egetable Pain Killer, and strange as
it n ay appear, I derived mare benefit from the use of
one twenty-five cent bottle than 1 had done from all
