The above building has just been completed, and
from its large size, (being three stories high, and
fronting 216 feet on Wayne street and 166 feet on
Greene street,) will furnish ample accommoda
tions for 250 or 300 persons,
The furniture, inculding beds, bedding, Ac., is
all entirely new, having been recently purchased
in the city of New York.
The undersigned has engaged a sufficient num
ber of trusty aud experienced servants, and the
table will be supplied with the best the country
affords. Every effort will he made to render his
guests comfortable, and his old friends and the
public generally are respectfully and cordially in

I IT appearing to the Court, by tlie petition of Le
roy Waits and William B. Waits, that Thomas
K. Slaughter of said county, deceased, did’, in his
life time, execute to Isaac Langston and John E.
Langston his bond, on certain conditions, to exe
cute waranty titles in fee simple to a certain tract
of land situated in said county, containing three
hundred acres, more or less, and it further appear
ing that said Thomas K. Slaughter departed this
life without executing titles to said tract of land,
or providing therefor, and it further appearing that
said Langston did on the 2d of November, 1656,
for a valuable consideration, transfer said bond to
said Leroy and Wm. B. Waits, and that said
Waits have paid the full amount of the purchase
money for said lot of land, and said Waits having
filed iheir petition in Court, praying that Janies
M. Williams of said county, administrator, and
Matilda Slaughter of the county of Butts, admin
istratrix of said Thomas K. Slaughter, deceased,
be ordered and directed to execute waranty titles
in fee simple to said tract of land, in conformity
with said bond. It is, therefore, Ordered, that no
tice be given in the Federal i’nion of such appli
cation as required by law, that all persons con
cerned may file their objections in the Ordinary's
Office, if any they have, why said James M. Wil
liams, administrator, and Matilda Slaughter, ad
ministratrix, of said Thomas K. Slaughter, as afore
said, should not execute titles to said land in con
formity with said bond.

Tuggle, that William G. Dunn, late of said comi
ty, deceased, while in life, to-wit: on the 26ih No
vember, 1853, made and delivered to said Benja
min F. Tuggle, bis certain obligation in writing,
the original of which is here to the Court shown,
by which said William G. Dunn did hind himself,
upon said Benjamin F. Tuggle complying with the
terms of said bond, to make, or cause to be made,
to said Benjamin F. Tuggle good and sufficient
titles in fee simple to part of lot of land No. 15, in
16th District, originally Baldwin, now Jasper and
New ton, containing one hundred and fifty acres,
more or less, and fifty acres of No. Ill, in 18th Dis
trict, originally Baldwin, now Jasper and Newton.
And it further appearing tiiat said William G.
Dunn departed this life testate, without making
and executing titles to land, and that James C.
Aaron, of said county, is the qualified executor of
the last will and testament of the said William G.
Dunn, deceased, Nowit further appearing on the
’9th November, 1656, said Benjamin F. Tuggle,
the obligee of said bond, fur a valuable considera
tion, by writing, endorsed on said bond, and trans
ferred said bond to Mitchell Aaron, and it further
appearing that said petitioner has complied with
the terms of said bond, and paid the purchase mon
ey. It is Ordered by the Court, that notice be
given in the Federal Union of such application,
that all persons concerned may file objections in
the Ordinary’s office, if any they have, why said
James C. Aaron, executor as aforesaid, should not
execute titles to said lots of land in conformity with
said bond.
