Messrs. Perry Davis and Non: Sirs—Gratitude to you,
and du y to suffering humanity, require that I should
make known the benefit I have derived from your
truly valuable Pain Killer; and if by seeing this, any
sufferer will he induced to give it a trial and be healed,
I shall be compensated a thousand fold
In June, 1855, after a protracted illness of several
months, I was severely attacked with drowsness, ver-
tago. dimness of sight, and loss of appetite, accompanied
by fever, difficulty of breathing, etc. My physician
pronounced mv case pn iimonia bordering on the first
stage of( onsumption; arid after exhausting his skill de
clared posiively that I had the consumption, that he
could do nothing for me, that I must die. However,
lie advised me to use ns the best thing I could d{,
which 1 did, with no effect. I then made use of
which proved inefficient.
By this time my symptoms were pain in the head,
morning evening, and during the night, darling
pains through the chest, burning in the palms

These symptoms, if allowed to go on—which this me

the patient may expire. Who can say that these exces

Throughout every town and: almost every hamlet

While it is the most powerful antidote yet knovvn to

remedy that can be employed for infants and young per
