PURE OSWEGO STARCH,
(FOR THE LUYDRY,)
H AS established a greater celebrity than has ever
been obtained by any other Starch.
This lias been the result of its nmike d superiority in
quality, and its invariably uniformity.
Tlie public maybe assured of tlie continuance of the
high standard now established.
The production is over Twenty Tons daily, and the
demand has extended throughout the whole of the United
States, and to foreign countries.
WoTking thus on a very large scale, and under a
rigid system, they are able to secure a perfect uniform
ity in the quality throughout tlie year. This is the great
Desideratum iu Starch-making, and is realized now for
the first time.
The very best Starch that can be made, and no other,
is always-wanted by consumers, and this will be sup
plied to them by the grocers, as soon us their customers
have learned which is the best, and ask for it—other
wise they would be likely to get tlmt article on which
the largest profit can be made.
Mr. Kills ford lias been engaged in the manufacture
of Starch continuously for the last 27 years, and during
the whole of the period, tin* Starch made under his su
pervision has been, beyond any question, the best in the
mai ket. For the first 17 years, he had the charge of the
works of Wm. Colgate & Co., at which period he in

vous, Rheumatic, and Neuralgic Affections, it has in
numerous instances moved highly beneficial, and in
others effected a deckled cure.
This is a purely vegetable compound, prepared on
strictly scientific principles, after tlie manner of the cel
ebrated Holland Professor, Boerhave. Because of its
great success in most of the European States, its intro
duction into the United States was intended more es
pecially for those of our fatherland scattered here mid
there over the face of this mighty country. Meeting
with great success among them, I now offerittothe
American public, knowing that its truly wonderful medi
cinal virtues must be acknowledged.
It in jmi ilruhu ly recommcndea to those persons whose
constitutions may have been impaired by the continu
ous use of ardent spirits, or other forms of dissipation.
Generally instantaneous in effect, it finds its way direct
ly to the seat of life, thrilling and quickening every
nerve, raising up tlie drooping spirit, and, in fact, infus
ing new health and vigor m the system.
NOTICE—Whoever expects to find this a beverage
will be disappointed; but to the sick, weak and low
spirited, it will prove a grateful aromatic cordial, pos
sessed of singular remedial properties,
CAITTXOKT.
The great popularity of this delightful Aroma linn in
duced many limtutionK, which the public should guard
against purcimsing. Be not pursundeil to buy any
thing else until you have given Hoerhnve’s Holland
Bitter* a fair trial. One bottle will convince you how
infinitely superior it in to all these imitations.

all fell off or disappeared, the second bathing, and be
fore I left Georgia, my hair was some 4 or 5 inches long,
and is this day us full and as beautiful as ever, ami more
soft and lively; ever person that beholds it thinks it is

My daughter Mary Elizabeth was attacked with Tetter
on her head, I applied to three or four eminent physi

was compelled to sleep on her face, Her hair had near
ly all fallen off, The one bottle oj* your Georgia Alen-

hair instantly commenced a fresh growth, and as soon
as natures laws would admit, she had a fine head of hair
and is now as full and beautiful as ever, it has been well
over 2 years. You are ut liberty to us this—ns all my

neck and shoulders, in large lumps under the skin, none
of them over running as common biles, which threw her
into a high fever, Tieadache, Ate. Hearing of your

joy, it, in a very few days, made a cure, for widen ac

and has made a complete cure of both of us, the disease
hud been annoying us for years; and Sirs I hardly know

Dr. Ayer: Your Pills are the perfection of medicine.
They have done my wife more g«*od than I can tell you.
She had been si* k and pining away f *r months. Went
off to be doctored at urent expense, but got no better.
Sh llien commenced taking your Pi*l«. which soon
cured her, by expelling large quantities of worms (dead)
from her body, they afterwards cured her and our two
children of bloody dysentery* One of our neighbor* had
it bod and my wife cured him with two doses of your
Pills, while others around us paid fr*»rn five to twenty
dollars doctors’ hills, and lost much time, without being
cured entirely even then. Such a medicine ns yours,
which is actually good and honest, will be prized here.
