This is a purely vegetable compound, prepared on

great success in most of the European States, its intro

there over the face of this mighty country. Meeting
with great success among them, I now offer it to the
American public, knowingthat its truly wonderful medi

GEORGIA ALCAHEST!
A mcrudrum lonjj sought for, and never obtained until
now. It is a remedy of the South, and we ask ot the
South a fair trial of its virtues and effects on all the dis
eases we claim for it—as a specific. Each week brings
us tidings of cures perfected by it, that exceeds our
most sanguine expectations. It has no equal in preserv
ing, restoring ami beautifying the Hair eradicating
Scurf and Dandruff, preventing Baldness; and Grey
Hairs; curing diseases of the the Skin, Glands and
Mucels, Bruises, Cuts, Sprains. Stings of insects, limita
tion and Swelling caused by poisonous plants^ Erys’ipt**

ly heat, Bimples, Scrofula, Tetters in all stages, Salt
Rheum, Sort* throat, Shingles, Rrough hands, Peridical
or nervious headache, Chapped skin, Chilblains, and ali
external inflamatinns, We will give a few vouchers to
what it has done, and trust the Alachest to herald its own
fame when used,

Dr8,T&NL Gallaway: As you requested ineto
state what time my Hair began to fall off, I take
pleasure in saying to you that in the surface of my head
became an entire scurf and all my hair dropped off by
the time I saw you in Georgia, 1S55, The only bottle
you sent to me while at my sisters, (Mrs, MeCnrelv’s)
made a permanent cure of it, The scurf and dandruff
all fell off or disappeared, the second bathing, and be
fore I left Georgia, my hair was some 4 or 5 inches long,
and is this day as full and as beautiful as ever, and more
soft and lively; ever person that beholds it thinks it is
oiled. It has been over 18 months since the bottle of
Alcahest gave out, I do wish that all the ntftcted would
give it a trial, as I had tried manv remedies before, from
eminent physicians ail without effect,
JANE CARSON,
Georgia, Walton County,—We, whose names are
undorsigued, do certify that Wc were witnesses to the
above case, that it is true as Miss Carson has stated,
when she left here her hair was as beautiful and full,
covering tlie whole head as before .deceased, and re
sembled silk velvet,
O G McCarty, Sarah McCarty, S Ray, P Ray,
Georgia Gwinnett County,'—Drs, T.& K,L, Gallaway,
My daughter Mary Elizabeth was attacked with Tetter
on her head, 1 applied to three or four eminent physi
cians. each application only served to aggrivate it, she
was compelled to sleep on her face, Her hair had near
ly all fallen off, Tiie one bottle of your Georgia Alca
hest thut I paid $1 for, made a complete cure, and her
hair instantly commenced a fresh growth, and as soon
ns natures laws would admit, she had a line head of hair
and is now as full and beautiful as ever, it has been well
over '2 years, You an* at liberty to us this—as all my
neighbors will testify to the same. Yours tmlv,
FIELDING HAMILTON,
Georgia, Walton County.—Drs. Gallawuv A Son:
My wife has been afflicted with Chilblains all over her
neck and shoulders, in large lumps nnder the skin, none
of them over running as common biles, which threw her
into a high fever, headache, Ac. Hearing of your
Georgia Alcahest, I procured a bottle, and to my great
joy, it, in a very few days, made a cure, for which ac
cept my best wishes for your success in so valuable a
remedy, I hear its fame spoken by every person that
uses it as a specific for all the diseases you say it will
cure. Yours truly,
** W W PETERS. J P
Georgia, Walton, Co, April 211, 1857,—I)rs, T & N
L Gallaway, I was affected with a most troublesome
breaking out all over my head, face, neck, shoulders and
breast, which had caused my hair to fall off anil seem
lifeless. Mv daughter Elizabeth E. was similarly af
fected, The two bottles of your Georgia Alcahest I
procured, stopped the itching at the first application,
and has made a complete cure of both of us, the disease
had been annoying us for vc ars: and Sirs I hardly know
how to express my gratitude for such a blessing, and
I cheerfully rccoumtend il to the public as a restorative
and tonic as my lmir looks like a youths in full bloom of
‘25 years, Yours truly, JAM ES S A KIN.
