THE CELEBRATED HOLLAND REMEDY FOR
fiYSSEESIA,
DISEASE OF THE KIDNEYS,
LIVER COMPLAINT,
WEAKNESS OF ANT KIND,
FEVER AND AGUE.
Aud the various affections consequent upon a disordered
Stomach or Liver,
Such ns Indigestion, Acidity of the Stomach, Colicky
Pains, Heartburn, Loss of Appetite, Despondency,
Costiveness, Blind and Bleeding Piles. In all Ner
vous, Rheumatic, and Neuralgic Affections, it has in
numerous instances proved highly bencfk-ial, and in
others effected a decided cure.
This is a purely vegetable compound, prepared on
strictly scientific principles, after the maimer of the cel
ebrated Holland Professor, Boerhnve. Because of its
great success in most of the European States, its intro
duction into the United States was intended more es
pecially for those of our fatherland scattered here and
there over the face of this mighty country. Meeting
with great success among them, I now offer it to the
American public, knowing that its truly wonderful medi
cinal virtues must be acknowledged.
It is particularly recommended to those persons whose
constitutions may have been impaired by the continu
ous use of ardent spirits, or other forms of dissipation.
Generally instantaneous in ctT< ct, it finds its way direct
ly to the ’ seat of life, thrilling and quickening every
nerve, raising up the drooping spirit, and, in fact, infus
ing new health and vigor m the system.
NOTICE—Whoever expects to find this a beverage
will be disappointed; but to the sick, weak and low
spirited, it will prove a grateful aromatic cordial, pos
sessed of singular remedial properties,
CAUTIOKT.
The great popularity of this delightful Aroma has in
duced many imitations, which the public should guard
against purchasing. Be not pursnaded to buy any
thing else until you have given Boerhave’s Holland
Bitters a fair trial. One bottle will convince you how
infinitely superior it is to all these imitations.

ALL NATIONS OF THE SAME MIND!
HOLLOWAY’S OINTMNET!
The anniversary of the introduction of Holloway’B
Ointment ought to be a Jubilee forever. It has saved
countless multitudes from disfigurement, parnlyzation,
mutilation, agony aud death. Starting from the surface
to which it is applied, its healing balm finds its way
through every coating and ligament of the body, to the
very source und basis of all eruptive, ulcerous, tumor
ous and cancerous diseases. li extinguishes the febrile
principle that feeds them, and the outward synmtoms
fade, heal, and pass away with a rapidity incredible tc
those wlm have not witnessed it.
Scrofulous F.rupsions and Ulcers.
The poison of Scrofula lias never been neutralized or
expelled by any of the remedies of the pharmacopaeia.
The sole antidote to this virulent and destructive ele
ment, is Holloway’s Ointment. Majendie Brodie, the
great French and English surgeons, do not deny or dis.
pute this great fact. There is no form of scrofula that
may not becontroled and cured bv tliis balsomic remedy.
CANCERS AND THJIOKS.
The Knife or caustic may remove a cancer or tumor,
but the seeds of the terrible excrescence remain in the
blood, and it Is soon reproduced in a worse form than
before. Holloway’s Ointment, on the contrary, pene
trates into the circulation, and pervades every infected
vesicle, and kills the disease by destroying the corrosive
principle that generated aud sustains it.
INFLAMMATIONS OF THE SKIN.
All rashes and ordiuafy eruptiuns, as well as Erysip
elas, Acne, Ringworm, Carbuncles, Scald Head, Salt-
Rheume, Leprosy, Prickly aeat, &c., arc removed by
a few brisk applications of the Ointment.
ACCIDENTAL INJURIES,
Wounds, Sprains, Bruises, Scalds and Burns are inn
mediately relieved by its application. The inflamma
tion quickly subsides, fevers and lockjaw are prevented
and under i persevering use of the preparation, the pro
cess of healing is soon accomplished.
Both the Ointment anil Pills should be
used in the following cases:
