Tills is a purely vegetable compound, prepared on
strictly scientific principles, after tin* manner of the cel
ebrated Holland Professor, Boerhave. Because of its
great success in most of the European States, its intro
duction into the United States was intended more es
pecially for those of our fatherland scattered here and
there over the face of this mighty country. Meeting
with great success among them, I now offer it to the
American public, knrvt mg that its truly wonderful medi
cinal virtues must be acknowledged.
It i.** particularly recommended to those persons whose
constitutions may have been impaired by tlie continu
ous use of ardent spirits, or other forms of dissipation.
Generally instantaneous in effect, it finds its way direct

nerve, raising up tin* drooping spirit, and, in fact, infus
