All who suffer the tortures which this dinease flicts in one form or another of its many phases, can be permanently and speedily cured by using The Oxygenated Bitters.’ The “Weekly Novelette’’ of Sept. 18, says: Dyspepsia is one of the prevailing diseases of our country. This is owing both to climate and the almr -t universal habit of eating onr meals too rapidly to ad mit of proper digestion. Bat in rpite of these ad verse circumstances, this disease, even when it has be come chronic , disappears rapidly by the use of the Ox ygenated Bitters, which huve been found to prove an infallible remedy. The Oxygenated Rittrra. The following letter is from a well known Clergy man who had suffered excruciatingly for a long time, and who had tried all known remedies and methods of teri were called into requisition:— Clinton, Oneida Co., N. Y. Sept. 1G, 1S59. Gentlemen.—Having used several bottles of your celebrated Oxygenated Bitters for tliut terrible dis ease Dyspepsia, I give you n brief statement of the salutary effects of the medicine. About four yean* since, 1 found tiiat this fell disease had thoroughly taken hold of me, and fastened its fangs upon the eouts of my stomach, tormenting me by day and by night. For a longtime previously I was unaware of tbe na ture of the disease which afflicted me, and the opin ions of tin* physicians left me as much in the dark as ever. After months of intense physical and mental suffering, and trying various remedies, putting mvselt under water cure treatment, and visiting the South, without receiving any benefit, I commenced by re commendation of l)r. C. Burrows, of this town, taking the Oxygenated Bitters, and soon found that the in truder was being driven from my system. I now fee! like a new man, nnd unless from imprudence, I suffer but little from that terrible disease which preyed so long upou me aud which robbed me of eighty-five pounds of flesh. I now weigh one hundred and ninety- three pounds, and call myself pretty well, and cheer fully recommend atrial of tli is remedy to nil who are alii.eted with any form of Dyspepsia. To my cleri cal bretheren, in particular, 1 honestly recommend the ()x vgenated Bitters as the remedy of all remedies. Yourstruly, HENRY BOY’NTON, * Minister of the Gospel. Prepared by SETH XV. Ayer’s Sarsaparilla, A compound remedy, in which we have labored to produce the most effectual alterative that can be made. It is a concentrated extract of Bara Sarsa parilla, so combined with other substances of still greater alterative.newer a* -**' * a uu cirtvtave antidote lor the diseases Sarsaparilla is reputed to cure. It is believed tiiat such a remedy is wanted by those who suffer from Strumous complaints, and that one which will accomplish their cure must prove of immense service to this large class of our afflicted fellow-citizens. How completely this com pound will do it has been proven by experiment on many of the worst cases to be found of the lollow ing complaints : — Scrofula and Scrofulous Complaints, Erup tions and Eruptive Diseases, Ulcers, Pimples, 21 tf. Blotches, Tumors, Salt Rheum, Scald Head, Syphilis and Syphilitic Affections, Mercurial Disease, Dropsy, Neuralgia on Tic Douloureux, Debility, Dyspepsia and Indigestion, Erysipe las, Rose or St. Anthony's Fire, and indeed the whole class of complaints arising from Impurity of the Blood. This compound will be found a great promoter of health, when taken in the spring, to expel the foul humors which fester in the blood at that sea son of the year. By the timely expulsion of them many rankling disorders are nipped in the bud. Multitudes can, by the aid of this remedy, spare themselves from the endurance of foul eruptions and ulcerous sores, through which the system will strive to lid itself of corruptions, if not assisted to do this through the natural channels of the body by an alterative medicine. Cleanse out the vitiated blood whenever you find its impurities bursting through the skin in pimples, eruptions, or sores; cleanse it when you find it is obstructed and slug gish in the veins; cleanse it whenever it is foul, and your feelings will tell you when. Even where no particular disorder is felt, people enjoy better health, and live longer, for cleansing the blood. Keep the blood healthy, and all is well; hut with this pabulum of life disordered, there can be no lasting health. Sooner or later something must go wrong, and the great machinery of life is disordered cr overthrown. Sarsaparilla has, and deserves much, the reputa tion of accomplishing these ends. But the world has been egregiously deceived by preparations of it, partly because the drug alone has not all the virtue that is claimed for it, but more because many prep arations, pretending to be concentrated extracts of it, contain but little cf the virtue of Sarsaparilla, or any thing else. During late years the public have been misled by large bottles, pretending to give a quart of Ex tract of Sarsaparilla for one dollar. Most of these have been frauds upon the sick, for they not only contain little, if any, Sarsaparilla, but often no curative properties whatever. Hence, bitter and painful disappointment has followed the use of the various extracts of Sarsaparilla which flood the market, until the name itself is justly despised, and has become synonymous with imposition and cheat. Still we call this compound Sarsaparilla, and intend to supply such a remedy as shall rescue the name from the load of obloquy which rests upon it. And wc- think we have ground for believing it has vir tues which are irresistible by the ordinary run of the diseases it is intended to cure. In order to secure their complete eradication from the system, the remedy should be judiciously taken according to directions on the bottle. PREPARED EY DIS. J. G. AYER & CO. LOWELL, MASS. Ayer’s Cherry Pectoral has won for itself such a renown for the cure of every variety of Throat and Lung Complaint, that it is en tirely unneoe. sarv for us to recount the evidence of its virtues, wherever it has been employed. As it has long been in constant use throughout this section, we need not do more than assure the people its quality is kept up to the best it ever has been, and that it may be relied on to do for their relief all it has ever been found to do. Ayer’s Cathartic Pills, FOR THE CURE OP Costicencss, Jaundice, Dyspepsia, Indigestion, Dysen tery, Foul Stomach, Erysijubis, Headache, Piles, Rheumutism, Eruptions and Skin Diseases, Liter Complaint, Dropsy, Tetter, Tumors and Salt Rheum, Worms, Gout, Neuralgia, as a Dinner Pill, and for Purifying the Blood. A smaller size of this Plow, (one horse) thinner in the sole and more dart-like in its figure, is an admirable implement tor cultivating crops, and will do the work ol more than forty men with hoes. With the corn crop, this tool may run closo alongside the corn, and to the full depth of twelve inches when the corn is but three inches high, and before the roofs occupy the space be tween the rows : this will lift the soil, move every corn plant with the soil, nnd for so slight a dis tance as not to separate the particles from the roots, yet so completely loosening the mass that the plant may be picked up with the fingers.
