HEALTH
BOTANIC INFIROTAlIir.
T HE increasing popularity of tho reformed Botan
ic Practice ol* Medicine, nnd tho continued ap
plication..of patients for medical treatment, ns well
as prescriptions nnd medicine to distant patients,
has induced the Pro pro] tor to make more extensive
arrangements for the better and more ebinlbHiiblo
accommodation of the afflicted, where every varie
ty of-dfhemA will bo treated upon the most scien
tific physiological principles. Tho reformed PraQ-
tice is becoming to bo too well known and too high
ly uppreqinted throughout pur country, to require
eulogium or panegyric in this plnco. It needs not
the aid of declamation to foster, to substantiate or
enlutnce its value j i only claims for itself a fair
investigation and trial to ho duly esteemed—and
cOrtulnly it cannot be denied that. If the most vi
olent opposition could have hud its intended elicct,
the system would long ago have been annihilated.
The argument in its' favor ncuctnulates, when wo
contemplate this fact, and still survey the rigid
examination it is every where forced to pass, thro’
Like true friendship; it Jins thoiougldy to he testid
”hns over to undergo and withstand the shoei; of
adversity before it is justly entitled to the name.”
Tho Practice having outlived the prejudices which
in many instances are too justly attached to It from
being In Ihe hands of Ignorant pretenders, where
it Was tpooflun found in its infancy in this cojntry,
it hns been, and now is affording extraordlnry re
lief to suffering thousands, while cures, in some
eases almost bordering on tho miraculous, arc be
ing effected by its potent influence. The unparal
leled success it hns met iu the hands of Dr. Jones,
(whose course of treatment in many respects is
purely original,) hns gnined for him celebrity, far-
surpassing liis fondest expectations, aud thousands
are rejoicing under the beneficial effects of a Prac
tice whoso tendency is to heal without any of those
disagreeable consequences which ten often follow-
the eradication of one disrate by the substitution of
anothet.
From the many testimonials which Dr.lms Jones
received of his unparalleled success, he hns thought
proper to lay thu following before tt reflecting com

they come lYom respectable citizens of our own
