No Cadet will be Admitted who is less than four*,
teen or more than twenty-five years of age ; or who
is affiicted with any disease or infirmity which would
render him unfit for military duty.
The Cadets will be occupied a K out one hoar and a
half eaoh day in military exercises; but at such
times as not to interfere with their regular studies.
UNIFORM FURNITURE, fee.
Tho Uniform consists of a light gray cloth couteo.
trimmed with guilt convex buttons and blaok cord
—white vest, und whlto Russian drilling pantaloons,
without trimmings, for summer. For winter, gruy
cloth vest and pantaloons, trimmed to suit tho coat
—blaok stock, white glovos and white belts—Mon
roe shoos and a Forage cap. No other drets will be
worn s nor will Cadets be allowed to keep other cloth-
ingin their rooms.
Each Cadet from a distance must provide him
self with a mattrass and bedding for a single bed,
mattrass-oover and bed-strap—ono trunk, one
clothes bag and six towels. Each Cadet will
unite with his room-mates in purchasing for their
common uso, one pine table, one looking glass, one
wash pun, one pail and ono broom.
In view nf the following regulation, parents and
guardians sending their sons and vnrds to this In
stitution, are advised to deposit with the (Superin
tendent. or with some friend In Marietta, a sum of
money sufficient to purchase tho above articles, and
to cover all nooessary expenses for one Session ; or
the Superintendent should be authorised, in writing t
to allow the Cadet to make an account lor a specified
sum. Tllo regulation referred to is ns follows, viz:
“Every Cadet shall keep a small blank book, iti
which shall be charged every arlielo ho may pur*
chase. This book shall be turned ovor to tho Su
perintendent fo-hls inspection at tho end of every
month. Any Cadet who shall contraot a debt with
out permission of the Superintendent, or be furnish
ed with any nrtiole whatever, by any ttorekeeper or
other pepon, without such permission, or whoso pa
rent or guardian shall pay nny debt contracted by
him during his connection with the Institute, and in
violatiouof thisiegula'ion, shall be dismissed.
