. ‘ To tho Rod Nosoa.”
Como brethren, hear mo for my cause,
■ 'Tls of tho "Sons” I'm speaking,
And-I will show you, If l ean,
Wherein they all are lacking)
There's something wrong about them—sure,
“Thoy all are of tho Bovll,—
Tho right-hand wing of Murrell's gang,"
go sure as hills ain’t level.
Thoy say they go for Tcmpcranco,
But that Is fklso, I'm certain,
‘Tls all a plan that they muy meet
To drink—behind the cUrtatn ■,
And that is why. tlioy'U mako you pay,
So they can have tho monoy,
?o buy their brandy, turn, and gin,
. And if thoy wish—some honey.
"'Tls all a speculating plan ”
Got up by fops aud dandles,
That thoy may livo, and without work
Buy finery and candles.
That’s wiiat they are my red-nosed friends,
So don’t you over join 'em',
For If you do you'll see It's so—
Just as I've said you'll find ’em.

Departed this life on Monday 1st ins ant
Mrs. Nancy Bradbury, consort of John W.
Bradbury of our City, aged49ycarsll months

The deceased has maintained, for many
years, a consistent walk as a Christian; hav
ing united herself to the Baptist Church In
tho year 1827. . Tho disease of which she died
prevented much conversation with her. arid,
therefore, In the hlstofy of her last sufferings,
we cannot record such declarations ofsubmis-
sion, luvo and triumph as'often accompany
the Christian’s departure; yqi, as by their
frutts the cliildrenof God may be known—re
membering her pious walk, wo sorrow not as
others \Vho have no hope, but trust that our
loss Is her eternal gain.
