ing Shut, and of a fufpenflon of intercourse with
the U. States, in confer;uence of the affair be
tween the Leopard and Chesapeake, t he demand
for naval stores has inereafed ; and the flocks
being moderate, high prices may be realized, as
long as this impreflion continues to operate.
The dealers continue to purchase such car
goes of timber as arrive from America; and as
the commercial relations betwixt this country
and the Prussian ports are likely to he afiefted
by the terms of the late continental peace, there
:s a profpedt of brisk lales for American timber,
and probably prices may .experience force fur
ther advance.

merica, which has excited so much attention, at
an advance of l-4d a 1-2 per ib. and moil of the
holders are net inclined to fell more even at these

enacted that all the Frational Parts of
Surveys of Land reserved to t!ic Hate
by the several land laws making dis
tribution of the lands lately acquired
of the Creek Nation of Indians, lying’
and being on the rivers Qcroulgee and
Oconee, and alio on the present and
former temporary boundary lines
(hall be fold in ieparate Sots, to the
