paper ; and that Mr. Groves, Mr.
Harman, and Mr. Cline, be a
committee to enforce a compli
ance of the said Ordinance ; and
that the Committee do not pro
ceed to an examination till after
the expiration of the said publi
cations.

examine the state of the buckets
in each house, and in ease of ‘de

they, shall be fined two dollars for
every bucket he,, she, or they are <

this ordinance,-and-no person
hall make use of any,-bucket or
rocured, for any other purposes
but that of extinguishing fire, un
der the penalty of one dollar for
each and every offence, end ill

shall„on conviction, forfeit a sum

wood, occupied as dwelling
houses or kitchens, shall vviltiiu

hereof, provide the same with a
sufficient ladder, or have a scuttle
