I T appearing that pruceas has issued in this
case, returnable to the term of this court in
December next, and that Lewis J. Duipis, one
nf the defendants, resides without the limits of
the District of Georgia—It is ordered, that the
said Lewis J. Dugas do appear at tho term of
this Court, to be Holden at Savannah, on the
fourteenth of December next, to answer to tho
plaintiffs on Vhe merits of their said petition
and that a copy of this order be published in
one of the gaieties of this state for three
months; and that the plaintiffk have leave to take

doubtedly claims against them, which, when
finally liquidlted outlie decision of the -milt
now pending, they will try to satisfy as soon as
possible thereafter.
The deeds under - which Mr Christie claims
an exclusive right to all the real and personal
. estate of Curnoc.han & Miichel, are considered
as informal, unjust and illegal. Hence they
have beenbrought and are still before the codft,
and other deeds have been executed nml Re
corded, conveying the property for the use ot
all their creditors, Mr Christie included, with
out any trust or reservation beneficial to C. U
M. or their families; and if this bo not njtfeea^
bte to that gentleman, it must nevertheless ap
pear fair and equitable to the public and all who
have a sntwu of jurt'eo.
The Trustees under the late deeds «rq anx-
oua to sell tliq Lands in Florida, alluded to in
the' nutiee of Mr Christie, and to apply the pro
ceeds to the immediate payment of part of his
demand, and deposit a sufficiency thereof to co
ver ail his claim, subject to the decision of the
